Judge’s ‘retirement’ likely forced following number of JIB complaints

An associate judge in the Second Judicial Circuit located in downstate Illinois has announced a retirement which will no doubt be heralded with fanfare when it hits mainstream media, but the part that won’t be revealed will be the Judicial Inquiry Board’s complaints fielded over the past year about his behavior on the bench – meaning said “retirement” has been likely forced.

Judge signs documents in brother-in-law’s civil case

WHITE CO. – A party in a civil action in White County has asked for sanctions to be leveled against a local judge for getting involved in a relative’s case.

WHITE CO. – The dispute between two southern Illinois banks continues to roil in area courtrooms with the most recent filing by one of the banks against a business in Carmi that was loaned money under questionable circumstances.

WHITE CO. – A well-known oil company in Carmi has been foreclosed upon by an embattled southern Illinois bank, with an auction held recently in an apparent attempt to offset some of the monetary issues.


WHITE CO. – Apparently, all the effort put forth between one young lady and a philandering husband has produced little but an illegitimate child and a lot of finger-pointing, as it did nothing to assuage the acrimony between two big businesses in downstate Illinois.

CLAY/GALLATIN COs. – At about the same time Grand Rivers Community Bank was filing a money demand suit on several Clay County residents, the Shawneetown location learned their fate with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
