Mostly wrecks and citations in Flora city PD report

FLORA, Ill. – A brief police activity report for the city of Flora contains mostly traffic – both wrecks and citations – covering September 3 through yesterday, the 8th, 2019.

Here’s the report, as kindly provided by Chief Guye Durre.

On Tuesday, September 3 at 4:03 pm, Flora Police investigated a traffic crash involving Franklin M. Stout, 92 of Olney, driving a 1999 Oldsmobile, James D. Utley, 33 of Newton, driving a 2005 Dodge, and Zachary J. Rice, 29 of Xenia, driving a 2014 Kenworth at the intersection of Hwy 50 and Shamrock Ln. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

On Wednesday, September 4 at 3:00 pm, Flora Police issued Troy A. Fethering, 41 of Volo, a citation for Speeding following a traffic stop at Hwy 45/50 intersection.

On Saturday, September 7 at 12:45 pm, Flora Police issued Duncan Q. Barfield, 19 of Flora, a citation for Operating Uninsured Vehicle and No Front/Rear Plate following a traffic stop at the intersection of Austin and Fairview.

In the only non-traffic incident, on Sunday, September 8 at 2:45 pm, Flora Police arrested Hunter D. Allen, 18 of Flora, for Domestic Violence and Disorderly Conduct following an incident in the 400 block of W. North Ave. Allen underwent booking procedures at the Flora Police Department and was transferred to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

On Sunday, September 8 at 12:55 pm, Flora Police issued Nicholas L. Pacatte, 28 of St. Louis, Mo., a citation for No Evidence of Registration following a traffic stop at the intersection of US 50 and N. State Road.
