Saline County Sheriff: Alert going out for missing man

SALINE CO., Ill. - Saline County Sheriff Whipper Johnson has released information and photos pertaining to a man missing from Saline and believed to be in danger.

A sheriff's office release states that Wendell Williams, 64, was last seen on Durham Road, Lot 21, at 9:55 a.m. on Friday, August 10.

Williams is described as 6 ft. tall,  weighing 185 pounds, with brown air and hazel eyes.

Williams is known to drive a Black 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Illinois plates, V126701. A photo of the Jeep is supplied below.

He was believed to have been in neighboring Gallatin County on Aug. 11.

Law enforcement has stated they have reason to believe that Williams is in danger.

Any person with information regarding the whereabouts of Wendell Williams should contact the Saline County Sheriff’s Office immediately at (618) 252-8661 or call 911.

Please share this post on as many social networking pages as you have; it's our understanding that the family is extremely concerned and efforts have been made over the weekend to locate Williams to no avail, so please help them out.
