Flora PD activity report chock full of traffic citations

FLORA, Ill. - The August 5 through 11 Flora Police Department activity report is absolutely full of traffic citations and very little else.

Here’s the report, as supplied by Police Chief Guye Durre.

On Monday August 5 at 8:02 pm, Flora Police issued Corey B. Brotzman, 24 of Louisville a citation for No Valid Registration following a traffic stop in the 400 block of N. Worthey St.

On Monday August 5 at 11:28 pm, Flora Police arrested Brittany F. Levitt, 21 of Flora for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop in the 500 block of W. North Ave. Levitt was transported to the Flora Police Department where she underwent booking procedures and was issued a Notice to Appear.

On Monday August 5 at 11:58 pm, Flora Police issued Rikki Goff, 25 of Iuka a citation for Improper Lighting following a traffic stop at the intersection of N. Main St. and Fourth St.

On Wednesday August 7 at 9:52 am, Flora Police investigated a traffic crash involving a 16-year-old female of Flora driving a 2013 Chevrolet and Brendan C. Mitchell, 22 of Albion at the intersection of W. Twelfth St. and N. Worthey St. No injuries were reported. The 16-year-old female was given a citation for Failure to Yield at Stop Intersection.

On Thursday August 8 at 12:20 am, Flora Police arrested Austin R. Ludwig, 20 of Evansville, Ind., for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop at the intersection of E. North Ave and Main St. Ludwig was transported to the Flora Police Department where he underwent booking procedures and issued a Notice to Appear.

On Thursday August 8 at 7:48 pm, Flora Police issued Harley M. Garrett, 28 of Louisville a citation for Operating Uninsured Vehicle following a traffic stop in the 900 block of N. Main St.

On Thursday August 8 at 9:20 pm, Flora Police arrested Cole T. Hosselton, 30 of Flora for Use of Intoxicating Compounds following an incident in the 600 block of W. Fourth St. Hosselton was transported to the Flora Police Department where he underwent booking procedures and. He was unable to post bond and was transported to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

On Saturday August 10 at 12:59 am, Flora Police issued Judith A. Harmon, 40 of Flora a citation for Expired Registration following a traffic stop at the intersection of US 50 and State St.

On Saturday August 10 at 8:34 pm, Flora Police issued Seth L. Fulk, 20 of Flora a citation for Expired Registration following a traffic stop in the 100 block of E. Ninth St.

On Sunday August 11 at 2:30 am, Flora Police arrested Steven D. Powell, 33 of Flora for Aggravated Battery following an incident in the 200 block of E. Scudamore. Powell underwent booking procedures at the Flora Police Department and was transported to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

On Sunday August 11 at 5:48 pm, Flora Police issued a 16-year-old female of Fairfield a citation for Speeding following a traffic stop at the intersection of Old Hwy 50 and Industrial Pkwy.

On Sunday August 11 at 6:53 pm, Flora Police issued Anthony J. Norlock, 45 of Chicago a citation for Speeding at the intersection of US 50 and Ginger Rd.

On Sunday August 11 at 11:35 pm, Flora Police arrested Luke E. Markham, 27 of Cisne for Driving Under Influence following a traffic stop in the 800 block of Vincennes Ave. Markham was transported to the Flora Police Department where he underwent booking procedures and issued a Notice to Appear. He was also given a citation for Speeding.

On Sunday August 11 at 11:59 pm, Flora Police issued Emalee A. Shelby, 32 of Flora a citation for No Valid Driver’s License following a traffic stop in the 100 block of N. Main St.
