CLAY COUNTY: Sheriff’s report covers second, third weeks of June

CLAY CO., Ill. - Clay County Sheriff Andy Myers has released his department's activity report for June 6 through the 18th, and with so much ground to cover, it turns out it's a big one.

June 6, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Steven T. Felty, 27, Clay City, for Violation of Bond, Driving While Driver's License Revoked and Resisting or Obstructing a Peace Officer. Bond set at $50,000.00 (10 percent). He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.

June 6, Clay County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Caleb Matlock, 21, Edgewood, on an outstanding Parole warrant. Matlock was transported to Illinois Department of Corrections.

June 7, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Zephrum Jones, 37, Clay City, for Improper Operation of ATV, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Resisting a Peace Officer. Bond set at $15,000.00 (10 percent). He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.

June 8, the Clay County Sheriff's Office was called to a disturbance at the 400 block of South Church Street in Louisville. Upon investigation, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy cited Jody R. Beccue, 33, Louisville and Ronald W. Guinn, 49, Louisville, for city ordinance Disturbing the Peace. Both were given Notices to Appear and released.

Harry Strange

June 11, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Harry Z. Strange, 31, Flora, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charges of Driving While Driver's License Revoked, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer and Reckless Driving. Bond set $3,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.

June 11, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Kaleb Hohlt, 31, Fairfield, for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond set at $150,000.00 (10 percent). He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.

June 11, Charlie Schnepper, 25, Clay City, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Unlawful Delivery of Cannabis. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He appeared in Clay County Court and was released.

Christopher Buening

June 12, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Christopher Buening, 46, Mason, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Unlawful Failure of Registered Sex Offender to Notify of Change of Address. Bond set at $25,000.00 (10 percent). He posted bond and was released.

June 12, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Ethan C. Young, 23, Louisville, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Disorderly Conduct. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.

June 12, Leanne K. Hoover, 20, Cullom, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Unlawful Display of License Plate. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. She posted bond and was released.

June 13, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy cited Brittany D. Bunker, 43, Clay City, for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and No Valid Registration. She was given a Notice to Appear and released.

June 14, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Shannon Dulaney, 47, Flora, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charges of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10 percent). She was also wanted on a Parole warrant. Dulaney was transported to Illinois Department of Corrections.

June 15, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Brianna Burgess, 27, Louisville, for Battery and Louisville City Ordinance Disturbing the Peace. Bond set at $1,500.00 (10 percent). She posted bond and was released.

June 17, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy cited a 17-year-old male from Mt Vernon, for No Valid Registration and Operation Uninsured Motor Vehicle. He was given a Notice to Appear and released.

June 17, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy cited Travis Hargis, 30, Flora, for Driving Without Lights when required. He was given a Notice to Appear and released.

June 18, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Eric W. Reid, 43, Louisville, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charges of Violation of Order of Protection and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond set at $50,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.

June 18, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Kristina Perkins, 28, Xenia, for Driving While Driver's License Suspended. She was given a Notice to Appear and released.

June 18, Roger R. Hutchinson, 31, Keenes, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of DUI. Bond set at $5,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.
