SALINE, GALLATIN: ISP releases results of recent patrols

SALINE/GALLATIN COs., Ill. - Illinois State Police in District 19 Carmi have released statistics from recent patrols in both Saline and Gallatin counties.

Here are the stats as reported by Illinois State Police (ISP) District 19 Interim Commander, Lieutenant Lance Hinkle, of the Roadside Safety Check (RSC) held in Gallatin County from late night June 14 to early morning June 15, 2019. District 19 Officers conducted the RSC at Illinois Route 13 and Illinois Route 1.

Hinkle also announced the results of an Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement (ACE) patrol held in Saline and Gallatin counties in June. This ACE patrol allowed the ISP to focus on preventing, detecting, and taking enforcement action in response to violations associated with impaired driving and illegal transportation or consumption of alcohol or drugs.
