Disorderly complaint leads to arrest; traffic stop of West York man yields second arrest

PALESTINE, Ill. - The Palestine Police Department made two arrests Monday afternoon, June 10, 2019.

At approximately 2:06 p.m. yesterday, Chief Jeff Besing was dispatched to a complaint of disorderly conduct in the 500 block of E. Franklin Street.

As a result of his investigation, Mary F. Harrison, 26 of Palestine, was issued a Notice to Appear on a Disorderly Conduct charge and released.

Then at approximately 2:55 p.m., Chief Besing was dispatched to a complaint of Criminal Damage to Vehicle in the 200 block of N. Main Street.

As a result of his investigation, Kyle R. Hood, 24 of West York, was placed under arrest and charged with Misdemeanor Driving while Suspended, Aggravated Assault, Class A Misdemeanor and Criminal Damage to Property over $500, a Class 4 felony.

Hood was transported to the Crawford County Jail where he was charged, processed and is being held pending bond being set by a judge.
