Two more blackout days coming up this week

Posted by on Monday, May 20th, 2019 @ 10:38 am.

PSA - We're posting to let you know that we've got to go lights out again this week for two days for Ang's treatment.

She has to go "lights out," as we've taken to calling it, because the medication she takes can't be around electrical fields. This curtails all phone, internet use, power in the house, etc....and it's a pain for both of us, believe me.

This is the fifth treatment. We don't know how many more she'll have to undergo (initially it was suggested there'd be eight, but this most recent stuff might mean more than that). We thought she was doing considerably better (with the exception of the compromised vision, brain fog and intense fatigue, the latter two of which both fluctuate) but the tests that came back last week say otherwise. This one kind of caught us both off guard because she was doing better. So we've worked it in to the schedule and the lights-out days this time will be Thursday and Friday (May 24/25). There will be very few posts on those two days. We have emergency contingencies in case there is something huge and breaking. Otherwise we'll be back to normal posting as of Saturday, May 26.

Thank you for bearing with us under this. It's a lot of pressure and stress just to go through the treatment; it's additional pressure and stress when we know we can't bring you the news like you're used to. But this is the only way things can get back up to snuff. So hang on to your Month Passes, those who still have them; and if you're interested in the e-Edition archives or articles we've put up since the termination of the paper, you know what to do....hit that "e-Edition" link and get yourself a Day Pass or Week Pass...you'll be glad you did.
