WHITE CO., Ill. - A report Wednesday has the White County Sheriff's Department investigating a vehicle damaged in the village of Enfield.

A White County Sheriff's report on the matter indicates that at approximately 1:48 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, Deputy George Spencer traveled to a residence on the 300 block of Mulberry Street, where he spoke with Veronica Taylor, 43.

Taylor advised that at some point on May 13, the air was released from all four of her vehicle's tires while it was parked in her driveway. She was able to air the tires back up and use the vehicle. Taylor advised she then observed her passenger side front tire was going flat again. When she attempted to air the tire back up, she observed the internal parts of the tire's valve stem had been removed. She said she believed this may have taken place after she put air back into the tires, but she stated she was not certain, as a friend had actually aired up the tires for her. However, she hadn't observed any other damage to the tires.

There was no suspect that Taylor had in mind, but a report was taken and if more info came in, the investigation would proceed. Anyone with any info may call the White County Sheriff's Department at 618-382-5321.
