WILLIAMSON CO., Ill. - Williamson County Sheriff Bennie Vick has released information on some alleged credit card thieves, and he's asking for the public's help in identifying the individuals caught on camera, as a reward is being offered.

On March 29, 2019, a vehicle burglary occurred on the parking lot of the Harmony Trail on Pigeon Creek Road at Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge. Credit cards were stolen from that vehicle.

Those credit cards were later that same day used to make purchases at the Kroger store in Marion, from which the images you see here were obtained.

The sheriff's office is therefore seeking the help of the public to identify one or all of the three individuals involved in the purchases and ostensibly the burglary. So anyone with information about the case can contact one of two entities.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office can be reached at 618-997-6541; as well, Williamson County Crimestoppers can be contacted by calling 1-800-414-TIPS (8477), by online message at williamsoncrimestoppers.com, or by texting a tip to CRIMES at 274637.  If a text message is used, the tipster needs to begin the text with the word “quicktip.” Persons contacting Crimestoppers or the Sheriff’s Office will remain completely anonymous, and receive a tip number for identification.

And the best part: Information received that leads to an arrest may make the caller eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
