Bean in a pickle: Alaskan man arrested in White on FTA out of Pulaski County

WHITE CO., Ill. - An Alaskan man was taken into custody by local authorities Tuesday, May 14. After police say he was found sitting near railroad tracks.

According to official reports, Charles D. Bean, 56, a white male, weighing in at 230 with brown hair and blue eyes, whose last known residence was 7400 Branche #3 Dr., Anchorage, Alaska, was spotted at 1:08­ p.m. sitting on North Stanley Street in Carmi, near the tracks.

When authorities ran a check on him, he was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant out of Pulaski County, Illinois.

Bean was taken into custody on the warrant, which alleges Failure to Appear at a court hearing surrounding a traffic incident there in 2011.

Official records indicate that on February 6, 2011 Bean, who appears to have been living in Mt. Vernon, Ind., at the time, was charged with Driving on Suspended License, Improper Turn Signal and Speeding.

Cash bond in the case was set at $275.
