PALESTINE, Ill. - Not paying on fines and fees - even four years after the crime - can get you hemmed up, as a woman from Sullivan, Indiana, found out today.

Palestine Police Chief Jeff Besing reports that he received information of a wanted female subject in the 400 block of E. Grand Prairie Street earlier today, Wednesday, November 14.

Upon his arrival, Chief Besing made contact with Lori A. Ramsey, 41 of Sullivan, Indiana, and upon confirming the warrant for Failure to Appear (Pay or Appear) on a 2014 charge for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, she was placed under arrest without incident.

Ramsey was transported to the Crawford County Jail where she was served her warrant and is being held in lieu of $225.00 cash bond.
