Fairfield girl crashes into stalled vehicle operated by Olney man in Clay

CLAY CO., Ill. - Clay County Sheriff Andy Myers has issued information on a wreck that occurred last night in north Clay involving two folks, one from Wayne County and one from Richland County who has had misfortune with wrecks when in Clay County.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office state that they were notified of the motor vehicle accident last night (Tuesday, October 16) at 6:49 p.m. south of the intersection of Dieterich Blacktop and Ingraham Lane.

Apparently Michaela Harrison, 18, Fairfield, operating a 2013 Dodge Dart, was traveling south on the Dieterich Blacktop and struck a parked 1997 Dodge Caravan, which had stalled, operated by Willard Hunley, 73, Olney.

Minor injuries were reported in the current accident.
