MARION, Ill. - The Marion Police Department Narcotics Unit along with the Tactical Entry Team made entry into a home on South Bentley as a precaution, since the alleged thug in question has posted photos online displaying a handgun.

Cornelius Purdiman, 25, who goes by "Nel Nel Nelius" in his Facebook fantasy land, was taken into custody early this morning after an investigation from MPDNU discovered he was allegedly distributing Cannabis.

Purdiman's Facebook page depicts him holding a gun in two separate photos which presumably prompted the tactical entry for a search warrant at his South Bentley residence in Marion.

Cannabis packaged for resale was located, along with a .25-cal semi automatic firearm, official advance funds, additional U.S. currency and additional packaging and weighing equipment.

Purdiman's home was one of those targeted in a drive-by shooting in the 700 block of South Bentley back in January and while he's not a felon, he does have a previous criminal history.

Currently, he is formally charged with Driving on Suspended License, Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Firearm and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

Bond has been set at $375 cash.
