Herrin Police activity report, May 7 through 13, 2018

HERRIN, Ill. - Bond Reform continues to keep counties in Illinois from collecting cash for a little while anyway, as many of those arrested on minor charges that used to bring in a few thousand a week are now released on "individual bond," meaning they didn't have to put up any money in order to not spend time in jail.

There's a lot of that in the Herrin Police Department weekly arrest report for the week of May 7-13, 2018:

Aaron L. Isaacson, 35, Carterville, was arrested on May 7 for Possession of Stolen Firearm, Illegal Possession of Weapon by Felon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Isaacson was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Nathan S. Jones, 41, Herrin, was arrested on May 7 for Driving while revoked / suspended, Operating uninsured vehicle, Following too closely and failure to reduce speed to avoid accident. Jones was released on a notice to appear.

Darian M. Richardson, 37, Murphysboro, was arrested on May 9 for Speeding, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, Aggravated Fleeing/Eluding, Resisting/Obstructing Officer, Criminal Damage to State Supported Property, Criminal Damage to Property x 3. Richardson was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Makayla Walker, 21, Marion, was arrested on May 9 for Criminal Trespass to Property. Walker was released on a Individual Bond.

Jonathon P. Clifford, 31, Herrin, was arrested on May 9 for Domestic Battery, Driving While Revoked/ Suspended. Clifford was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

William J. Bower, 29, Herrin, was arrested on May 10 for Driving Under the Influence and Improper Lane Usage. Bower was released on a Individual bond.

Stephanie M. Lopez, 36, Herrin, was arrested on May 10 for Battery. Lopez was released on a Individual bond.

Roy E. Rone, 56, Marion, was arrested on May 10 for Driving while Revoked/Suspended and Improper Lane Usage. Rone was released on a Individual bond.

Peggy J. Pearson, 37, Herrin, was arrested on May 10 for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Pearson was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Jessica R. Alongi, 23, Herrin, was arrested on May 10 for Driving Under the Influence. Alongi was released on a notice to appear.

Robert L. West, 35, West Frankfort, was arrested on May 11 for failure to appear on a Williamson County warrant for Driving While Revoked/Suspended. West was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Anthony J. Anderson, 49, Cambria, was arrested on May 11 for Driving Under the Influence and Improper Lane Usage. Anderson posted his driver’s license and cash for bond.

Raymond E. Wells, 46, Herrin, was arrested on May 11 for Aggravated Assault and Criminal Damage to Property. Wells was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Scott M. Nicks, 43, Herrin, was arrested on May 11 for Disorderly Conduct and Battery. Nicks was released on a notice to appear.

James L. Major, 29, Johnston City, was arrested on May 12 for Improper Use of Registration.  Major was released on a notice to appear.

Jalen T. Jeralds, 23, Herrin, was arrested on May 13 for Theft. Jeralds was transported to the Williamson County Jail.
