Tactical entry made on Marion residence, cocaine delivery charged

MARION, Ill. - The Marion Police Department Narcotics Unit (MPDNU) executed a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of N. Otis Street this morning, Thursday, April 12.

The search warrant was obtained through a narcotics investigation identifying Jaryan G. Brock-Brantley (black male, 29 years of age) as a distributor of cocaine.

A tactical entry was conducted to gain entry into the residence with the assistance of the Marion Police Department Emergency Response Team.

A search of the residence was conducted and detectives recovered and seized multiple controlled substances, packaging materials, weighing equipment, United States currency, and MPDNU prerecorded official advanced funds.

Jaryan G. Brock-Brantley was conveyed to the Williamson County Jail awaiting future court proceedings for the charges of Delivery of a Controlled Substance Within 500 feet of a Protected Area (Class X Felony) and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class 1 Felony).
