WHITE CO., Ill. - A complaint of a stolen 4-wheeler was made in White County yesterday, along with the service of a Richland County warrant rounding out the report.

The 4-wheeler was reported a few minutes after 12 noon yesterday (Thursday, March 15) when Jim Graves of Norris City called the sheriff's department in Carmi to make the complaint.

Graves said he's unsure when the vehicle was taken, but that it had to be within the last few days. He identified the 4-wheeler as a 2002 Polaris Magnum 500. It's described as having originally been gray in color but it's had camouflage tape put on it. Graves also reported that the vehicle has two keys, both of which he's in possession of.

Anyone with information may call 618-382-5321.

Later last night, at 7:46 p.m., a Grayville woman came to the sheriff's department to turn herself in on a warrant out of Richland County.

Sheila R. Cooper, 60, was the subject of a civil order issued by Richland County involving a case with a law firm in Olney, Clark & Hurn, LTD. Cooper was able to post the bond amount of $100 plus a $20 booking fee after being processed at the jail.
