Clay County Sheriff’s report reflects Flora’s: Meth, traffic, meth, probation violations…meth

CLAY CO., Ill. - While lawmen work hard to get the meth and other dope problems under control, they also have a lot to deal with by way of warrant service, traffic, and other matters, as the Clay County Sheriff's Department report clearly shows.

Here's the rundown from December 21, 2017, to today, January 9, 2018.

Dec. 21, Christopher Tewell, 39, Lawrenceville, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond set at $4,000 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.

Dec. 26, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Michael W. Neff, 35, Flora, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Theft. Bond set at $1,500 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.

Dec. 27, Terry Knolhoff, 46, Coffeen, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Obstructing Identification. Bond set at $3,000 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.

Dec. 30, the Clay County Sheriff's Office was notified of a motor vehicle accident a 2:57 p.m. west of the intersection of Sapphire Lane and Hurricane Creek Road. Apparently Haleigh Stanton, 27, Noble, operating a 2007 Ford Hatchback was travelling west on Sapphire Lane, lost control of her vehicle, left the roadway and overturned. She was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident. 

Jan. 2, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Brandon L. Hewkin, 28, Farina, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Domestic Battery. Bond set at $3,000 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.

Jan. 3, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Sara Perkins, 25, Flora, for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Forgery. She appeared in Clay County Court and was released. 

Jan. 3, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Molly Delzell, 21, Xenia, for Violation of Probation on the Original charge Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond set at $10,000.00 (10 percent). She is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.

Jan. 3, Eric Dunn, 34, Stewardson, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Cannabis. Bond set at $3,000 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was and released.

Jan. 3, Nicole Dulaney, 30, Kinmundy, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond set at $50,000 (10 percent). Dulaney was also wanted on an Illinois Department of Corrections Parole warrant. She was transported to Illinois Department of Corrections.

Jan. 3, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Noble W. Walker, 25, Clay City, on an outstanding Clay County warant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Precursors and Burglary. Bond set at $6,000 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.

Jan. 3, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Sheila Atchison, 50, Louisville, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving While Driver's License Suspended. She appeared in Clay County Court and was released.

Rodney Washington

Jan. 4, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Rodney Washington, 35, Flora, for Driving While Driver's License Revoked. He posted bond and was released.

Jan. 7, Clay County Sheriff's Office arrested Sara Perkins, 25, Flora, for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Forgery. Bond set at $4,000.00 (10percent). She is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail. 

Jan. 8, the Clay County Sheriff's Office was notified of a motor vehicle accident at 7:20 a.m. east of the intersection of Ingraham Lane and Pigtail Alley. Apparently Carla Kuhl, 59, Ingraham, operating a 2002 GMC SUV was travelling east on Ingraham Lane when she struck ice on the roadway, causing her to lose control and overturn in the ditch. No injuries reported.

Jan. 8, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Justin L. Harmon, 38, Xenia, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Disobeyed Traffic Control Signal, No seatbelt and
Operation of Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Bond set at $1,500 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.

Jan. 9, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Nicholas Morkin, 21, Flora, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Conspiracy to Commit Residential Burglary. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee.He posted bond and was released.
