Deangelo Pollard

ALBION, Ill. - A teen from Henderson, Kentucky, was the basis for all the craziness in Albion yesterday in Edwards County...and that craziness occurred for a very good reason: The teen is a murder suspect.

How on earth he landed in Albion, however, isn't something Henderson officials are addressing in a press release, however.

Kentucky authorities advise that Deangelo Pollard, 18, was caught yesterday afternoon (Friday, December 1) at a location on the 300 block of South Second Street in Albion in mid-afternoon (about 2:30).

Residents on that street advise that an entire uniformed SWAT team was on the scene, where U.S. Marshals were able to bring in Pollard.

Pollard was wanted in connection with the shooting death of 21-year-old Devin Fields, whom Kentucky authorities advise is from Illinois. Fields was found on November 10 in a parked car at Lawndale Apartments in Henderson. He had, according to authorities, also been robbed.

How authorities came to suspect Pollard is unknown. However, he's currently being held in White County until being extradited back to Kentucky.
