CRAWFORD CO., Ill. - A guy whose May 2016 drug case apparently hasn't even seen the first hearing yet was picked up by Crawford County authorities over the weekend.

Jeremy W. Rhinehart, 23, of Robinson, was picked up Saturday, November 12, and jailed on multiple Failure to Appear counts, including some from Lawrence County to the south of Crawford.

Authorities advise that the warrant arrest was conducted on the 2016 charge of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance in Crawford. As well, Rhinehart was wanted on Failure to Appear in two traffic citations in Lawrence, Driving While License Suspended and Speeding.

Robinson Police Department was the arresting agency; Rhinehart remains locked up at the Crawford County Jail, where, as it turns out, he also has an out-of-state hold on him as he's wanted in Knox County, Indiana, on a warrant there and is awaiting extradition. In Knox, he's facing roughly the same charges as in Illinois, including Driving While Suspended, Operating with Expired Plates, and Operating a Motor Vehicle without Financial Responsibility.
