FAYETTE CO., Ill. - A three-vehicle collision on U.S. 51 in Fayette County tonight sent drivers of two vehicles to Fayette County Hospital.

The incident happened on 51 at 9:54 p.m. this evening, Sunday, November 12.

Preliminary investigative details indicate that a blue Chevrolet Malibu being driven northbound on 51 by Rylee Wollerman, 19, of Vandalia, failed to stop for a blue Dodge Durango, being driven by Keith Hancock, 62, of Oconee, as Hancock was slowing for a van turning into a private driveway.

The Malibu and Durango struck yet another car, a blue Chevy equinox being driven by Janet Manley, 65, of Vandalia, which was traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 51.

Both Wollerman and Hancock were transported via ambulance to Fayette County Hospital for minor injuries.

One of the drivers was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, but ISP failed to note which one.
