Village hall, Pittsburg

PITTSBURG, Ill. - Residents of the village of Pittsburg in Williamson County will have an opportunity to voice their concerns regarding recent events in their community at a village board meeting.

Recent break-ins, as covered in articles like this, have prompted citizens to question whether the village should once again have its own police force, even if it's just a part-time officer to supplement the coverage the county provides.

The meeting will be held at city hall tomorrow night, Monday, November 13, at 6:30. All are welcome to attend.
