HERRIN: Police report for first week of August, 2017

HERRIN, Ill. - Here’s your Herrin Police Department Arrest Report for the week of July 31 through August 6, 2017.

Michelle A. Thompson, 33, Johnston City, arrested on July 31 for Retail Theft. Thompson was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Daniel R. Valco, 20, Herrin, arrested on August 1 for a Failure To Appear Warrant (Traffic Offense) out of Franklin County. Valco was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Jeremy L. Weir, 18, Johnston City,arrested on Aug. 1 for a Failure To Appear Warrant (Traffic Offense) out of Williamson County and for Driving While License Suspended. Weir was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Richard W. Mann, 41, West Frankfort, arrested on Aug. 3 for a Warrant out of Franklin County for Violation of a Court Order and for Driving Under the Influence. Mann was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Laci A. Carter, 24, Herrin, arrested on Aug. 4 for a Failure To Appear Warrant (Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Material) out of Franklin County. Carter was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Cody R. Yates, 25, Marion, arrested on Aug. 5 for a Failure To Appear Warrant (Disorderly Conduct) out of Williamson County, Fleeing and Attempting to Elude a Peace Officer and Resisting a Peace Officer. Yates was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Seth M. Murphy, 29, Johnston City, arrested on Aug. 5 for a Failure To Appear Warrant (Making a False Report) out of Williamson County and for Theft. Murphy was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Jessica E. Shultz, 31, Marion, arrested on Aug. 5 for Possession of Methamphetamine. Shultz was transported to the Williamson County Jail pending a court appearance before a Judge.

Anthony B. Mazurek, 40, Herrin, arrested on Aug. 6 for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Mazurek was issued a Notice To Appear and was released from custody.

John S. Proz, 42, West Frankfort, arrested on Aug. 6 for a Failure To Appear Warrant (Violation of Order of Protection) out of Franklin County, a Warrant for Domestic Battery out of Franklin County, another Warrant for Domestic Battery out of Franklin County and for Violation of Order of Protection. Proz was transported to the Williamson County Jail.
