SALINE CO., Ill. - One of the people charged association with the theft of weapons from an Eldorado gun dealer has resolved his case in Saline County Circuit Court, according to State's Attorney Jayson Clark.

Clark said that on July 11, Nathan D. Behrens, 28, of Eldorado, entered a plea of guilty to a Class X felony charge of Aggravated Possession of Stolen Firearms. Judge Walden E. Morris sentenced Behrens to 15 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, to be followed by three years of mandatory supervised release (or, parole.)

On January 7, 2016, the Saline County State's Attorney's Office filed charges against Behrens arising out of an incident in which it was alleged that Behrens possessed six stolen firearms which had been stolen from Gunslinger's gun store in the Eldorado area.

The investigation of Behrens' case was led by the Eldorado Police Department, Saline County Sheriff's Department and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Assistant State's Attorney Jason Olson handled the successful prosecution of the case.

So the judge didn’t give Nathan any credit for rocking the retro Pebbles Flintstone hairstyle? Something tells me his cellmate will give him the props for his stylishness …..
