Xzavier Gibbs

GALLATIN/SALINE COs., Ill. - Authorities have finally caught Xzavier Gibbs, wanted for questioning in the shooting death of Aaron Gregory on June 16, 2017.

Here's ISP's info on it:

The Illinois State Police would like to announce the arrest of Xzavier B. Gibbs, age 19, of Harrisburg, Illinois. During the afternoon hours of Tuesday, July 11, 2017, Gibbs was located at a residence in Equality, Illinois. At approximately 4:45 p.m., Gibbs was taken into custody without incident on several Saline County Arrest Warrants.

The Saline County charges include Home Invasion, Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Unlawful Use of Weapons, and Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Number. Gibbs was transported to the White County Jail, where he will remain pending bond.

Harrisburg Mayor John McPeek has stated "I want to thank the ISP, DEA and Harrisburg Police and Saline County Sheriff's Department for their hard work the past three weeks to catch Gibbs."
