ISP announce results of patrols in Lawrence, Richland, Effingham, more
DISTRICT 12 - Illinois State Police District 12 Commander, Captain Cory Ristvedt, has announced the results of a number of special patrols held during the month of March in their North Counties coverage area.
Here are results of an Occupant Restraint Enforcement Patrols held in Clay and Marion counties, which were extra patrol coverage for the ISP so officers could focus on saving lives by making sure all vehicle occupants were buckled up.
Here are results of an OREP held in Effingham County during March:
Nighttime Enforcement Patrols (NITE) were held in Lawrence and Richland counties in March; NITE allows ISP to focus on preventing, detecting, and taking enforcement action in response to impaired driving and occupant restraint violations especially between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.:
A Roadside Safety Check (RSC) was held in Fayette County from late night Friday, March 17 to early morning Saturday, March 18, conducted in Vandalia by District 12 officers; here are the results:
And here are the results from an RSC held in Effingham County from late night Friday, March 31 to early morning Saturday, April 1, conducted in Effingham by District 12 officers:
