SOUTHERN ILLINOIS – We’ve been seeing a lot of ‘news items’ in which you are being encouraged to “get your flu shot.”

There are a lot of sources out there that will absolutely swear on the lives of their kids, parents, spouses, etc., that the flu shot is absolutely safe. But take it from us – since we know it first-hand – it is NOT.

In 2001, one in our household got a flu shot. That began a cascade of effects that have ended up causing no fewer than three ongoing serious conditions and two other recurring ones. Flu shots are:

  • Dangerous for people who have autoimmune problems, and especially so for those who have undiagnosed AI problems;
  • Ineffective for the currently-circulating virus, since flu shots are based on LAST year’s virus;
  • Full of things people can be sensitive and even allergic to (such as thimerosal, a mercury derivative, and eggs);
  • Potentially damaging to the body to the point that it can weaken you and cause you to be EXPOSED to the current influenza virus making the rounds, as well as to pneumonia.

Please be aware of the dangers of “shots.” Also be alert to how they’re being pushed: If something’s being given away free, that’s not good, especially in the current climate of Obamacare. Because the government now dictates the health care system (one-sixth of America’s economy), they NEED people sick. That makes “flu shot giveaways” all the more suspect.

For more information on why flu shots are no good, visit this website, this website, or even see this piece by CNN, which tells partial truths about it. And in order to keep healthy so that you can avoid illnesses this coming winter season, there are some practical things you can do, such as properly ventilating your house, keeping surfaces (doorknobs, drawers, handles, countertops) clean, not with antibacterial cleaners, but good old vinegar does just fine, and keeping your hands scrupulously clean (again, not with antibacterial products, but good old soap and water and scrubbing) and away from your face (eyes, nose, mouth). You can also try to eat a little more healthy, including a diet comprised mostly of fresh, raw fruits and vegetables, low in grains and red meat, and totally deprived of sweets (on which bugs like the flu and pneumonia feed, even inside your body). We’ve found that lots of garlic, and occasional teaspoons of raw honey, along with Bragg’s Amino Acid vinegar and a high-quality colloidal silver, helps the immune system enormously. But these are just our recommendations; do your research to find out what will work for YOU…just don’t get a flu shot.
