3.5 ky eq

LA CENTER, Ky. - U.S. Geological Survey authorities are asking if local folks felt the earthquake that hit a far western part of Kentucky early this morning.

eq 3.5

The earthquake was epicentered about nine miles north-northwest of La Center, Kentucky, the nearest  community to call it. It was apparently right on the Ohio River. It was a deep earthquake - 16.3 kilometers, or more than 10 miles. It measured 3.5M...enough to get people's attention.
