Detroit: Woman calls 911 for help, gets raped by cop

f468761440d8f9d75bff938f9b9846deOn Friday, police in Detroit arrested one of their own, Officer Deon Nunlee, 40, after he reportedly raped a woman he was sent to help on a domestic violence call.

Around 3 a.m., on Oct. 30, Officer Nunlee and his partner were dispatched to a home in the 16800 block of Asbury Park, where a 31-year-old woman reported having been assaulted by her boyfriend.

The Detroit News reported:

"When Nunlee and his partner arrived at the scene, the woman alleged that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend,” said Wayne County Prosecutor spokeswoman Maria Miller. “Nunlee took the woman upstairs and his partner remained with the male downstairs."
