Authorities in Alabama have confirmed that a man originally from Clay County is among those killed in the storm that struck Saturday’s Dauphin Island Regatta in south Mobile County.

Information coming out of Clay County tonight indicates that one of those on board a capsized boat yesterday in the Dauphin Island Regatta disaster is a man from right here in southern Illinois.
