FLOOD OF 2013 CLARK/CRAWFORD/LAWRENCE 
Old York on the county line suffered massive flooding with water reaching into homes, the top of road signs, the bottom of mail boxes and over the axles of several vehicles which couldn’t be moved fast enough.

Merger of transit authorities being discussed
EDGAR/CLARK COs.—The East Central Illinois Mass Transit District (ECIMTD), based out of Paris, Illinois and covering Edgar and Clark counties is in serious talks with Rides Mass Transit (RMT) based out of Harrisburg in Saline County, located in deep southern Illinois.
