ILLINOIS STATE POLICE DISTRICT 12 ANNOUNCES OCTOBER ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITY

Troopers in District 12, which includes Clark, Clay, Crawford, Cumberland, Effingham, Fayette, Jasper, Lawrence, Marion, and Richland Counties, answered 311 calls for service and initiated 1,210 incidents in the field during the month.

The Illinois State Police (ISP) District 12, will conduct Nighttime Enforcement Patrols (NITE) in Effingham County as well as special Traffic Enforcement Patrols (sTEP) during November, according to Commander, Captain Kelly Hodge.

CLARK CO.— The Illinois State Police Zone 7 division, headquartered in Effingham, is investigating the death of an unidentified female whose body was discovered on Interstate 70 at the Casey, Illinois exit (Route 49) on October 18, 2013.
