HAMILTON CO.— This month’s look into the criminal court system in Hamilton County is somewhat of a hodgepodge of charges ranging from weed to guns, beginning with Troy D. Lankin, 28, of 207 North Walnut St., McLeansboro, who was arrested on a warrant on July 7, for allegedly committing the offense of Unlawful Possession with the Intent to Deliver Cannabis and Unlawful Production of Cannabis Sativa Plant.

A Hamilton County case was carried out this morning in neighboring White County, wherein the accused entered a plea of guilty to one of multiple charges of drunk driving…an act which lead to a crash that killed members of his family.

HAMILTON CO.— A McLeansboro teen has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to Theft in both Hamilton and Jefferson counties.
