FRANKLIN CO. – The man at the center of what many say are desperate problems at Franklin County Hospital in Benton has been terminated by the hospital board, this after multiple articles appeared across southern Illinois media outlining a lawsuit brought by one of the hospital’s doctors.

FRANKLIN CO. – The former Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the struggling Clay County Hospital in Flora is one of a number of people and entities being named as a respondent in discovery by a Franklin County physician in a lawsuit, alleging irregularities and irresponsibility in the operations of the Franklin County Hospital.
