Man, that sucks, Todd.
Wreck in Harrisburg yesterday (03.05.10); our lovely reader who sent us this pic said that a gal with a little kid ran a stop sign and the cars collided. Witnesses are telling us that she got out of the car holding the little kid, crying, and Fort, understandably upset, was cussing a blue streak. She was apologizing, saying she wasn’t from the ‘burg and wasn’t familiar with the streets or signs. That didn’t help Fort’s humor, according to those who were there.
We’ll have more specs on it in the print version if it’ll fit…March 17…
When I lived the Mills and Todd was just a regular cop, I don’t think he was that bad. After a move to the Burg he changed. But I must say one thing, He really does care about Children being in that car seat. Yes, he has got me a few times. And I must say he was sober every time.
Many very good guys end up with very bad girls. They are still good guys. He does his job and his co-workers like him. If your opinion of a person was based on that alone, a large percentage of posters here would be called worse I suppose.
Admin, wanna really make your hit counter burn up? Instead of waiting for any news to break, just list each individual officer by department and see how many comments you get. You know there are people laying in wait, licking their lips just for the opportunity. If posters can spin all the tales of Major Fort’s life from an article about an unfortunate auto crash, just imagine what they’ll post with no topic or direction.

I lived in Carrier Mills in the early 90s when Todd Was an officer there. He treated people fairly, even though he was a bit gruff, he did a good job.
As I understand it, he is divorced and free to date whoever he pleases. That should not be anyone’s business but his own. As long as he continues to do a good job and he obviously does, let him be.
This “Mother” that hit DEPUTY Fort said and I quote… “I’m not from around here and was unaware of the street signs” unquote… Tha fact of the matter is SHE’S FROM HARRISBURG HAS LIVED THERE ALL HER LIFE HER “HUSBAND” IS IN PRISON FOR FEDERAL DRUG CHARGES AND THE CHILD SHE’S HOLDING AS SHE GOT OUT ISN’T HER HUSBAND’S SO WHO DO WE BELIEVE??? IT’S A NO-BRAINER!!!!
