Just a little note (big posts are coming Tuesday): We now have weather widgets on the right-hand column of each individual post!

Weather, (as we can ascertain it, at any rate), is for the general area of southern/southeastern Illinois. It’s picked up by your IP; so if you, like some of our readers, use a wireless hit and it comes out of Bohica, California (just as an example) you’ll probably get their weather forecast.

So if you have problems with it, that’s why; but most folks will be able to see a forecast for conditions in our general area.

We’re working on an earthquake feed, if for no reason other than to allow Ang to share her irrational fear of shakers until the New Madrid or Wabash Valley Seismic Zone cracks open, Hicks Dome explodes, and she can stand back and smugly say, “Told ya.”
