This guy, (Lenard Smock, aka lots of other names) left a gripe on our answering machine today, stating that his address as listed on the sex offender list that we publish every month is incorrect.
Straight from ISP website, about 6:20 p.m. tonight, 12.21.09
Says if we don’t change the address to the right one, he’s gonna get hisself a attorney.
Hope his attorney likes taking on the state police, because if the address isn’t right, it’s not our fault, it’s theirs. Which actually probably isn’t right, as they only know what they get from the local sheriff of whatever county (in this case, Gallatin), who only knows what he knows from the sex offender, who is supposed to list his proper address.
So if it ain’t right, don’t get onto us. We don’t want ANY sex offender calling here, bitching or otherwise.
And just so you know, you need to submit a photo…so we all can know what you look like so we can turn the other way if we see you coming when we’re in Equality.

Did he give his proper address?
He didn’t say anything about his proper address, only that we were printing the wrong addy in the print version.
It’s beyond us how someone can make a complaint like this. We take those addresses exactly as they appear on exactly the day we print on almost the very first line in the segment. If it’s wrong, the sex offender or ISP are the only ones who can rectify it. We provide it as a public service and it’s not a paid ad (as Lenard alluded).
Sex offenders, most of them, anyway, are mental to begin with.
I guess this Dummy has decided to shut up and not tell us where he lives.Check out your nieghbor folks! You never know who may be next door to you.It seems that you can’t depend on the State Police to keep updats on the Perverts!
