HAMILTON COUNTY: Richland crossover crim finally going to IDOCPosted by Jack Howser on Thursday, February 16th, 2017 @ 1:50 pm.
HAMILTON CO., Ill. - One of the few remaining members of the criminal Earp-Trout bunch who isn't in or hasn't yet been sent off to prison for various felonies is now keeping up with the fam.
Jonathan Trout, the 24-year-old Olney resident who continues to play a shell game with where he's living as he's done since he became a registered sex offender at the tender age of 16, was unfortunate enough to have gotten crossways with the law in Hamilton County, after years of dodging the same bullet in Richland and Saline.
Earlier today (February 16), Trout plead to a probation violation for Unlawful Failure to Notify Change of Address as a Sex Offender, Class 3 Felony, in HamCo. Hamilton County State's Attorney Justin Hood said Trout will serve a sentence of 4 years in Department of Corrections with one year of Mandatory Supervised Release to follow. Trout's most recent sentence will run concurrent with a probation violation out of Saline County for the same type of offense that occurred in 2012.
There's been no word on any of Trout's Richland County charges that have been pending ad infinitum since former state's attorney David Hyde kept giving him a pass.
