VEHICLES STOLEN, ONE BURNED OUTSIDE HARRISBURG
SALINE CO.—Reports are coming in of a bizarre vehicle theft that occurred in the Harrisburg area yesterday, February 19, 2013.
Here’s what we know: Three vehicles were stolen from the Harrisburg area. Our sources aren’t clear on what kind the first one was, but are very clear on the second and third: A semi was stolen from an unknown location and driven to Mike Church’s Trucking, where a maroon Ford Ranger was stolen from that location. The Ranger was driven to the end of Palestine Road and torched:
After that, someone/s stole a Jeep Wrangler from the yard of Chris and Jessica Cox and drove off, this occurring some time between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday:
All photos are from the Cox’ Facebook page; we have not been able to establish contact with them.
Officials intended to recover the Ranger this morning. If ANYONE has any information, contact the Saline County Sheriff’s Department (618) 252-8661 or Harrisburg police (618) 252-4528.
