If she wasn’t involved but knew what he’d done how could she crawl back in bed with him and go on like everything was normal. He pleaded not guilty so his lawyer will more than likely plead diminished capacity because of the alcohol involved. Yet he was clever enough to move Jacob’s body to throw suspicion on him. it’s a wonder scavengers hadn’t gotten to the body and destroyed valuble evidence. In fact weren’t the police concentrating all their attention on finding Jacob alive and on the run, the ground search had been suspended, and if it hadn’t been for Jacob’s father, the truck parts might not have been found. So for a whole week there was a cold blooded murderer among us, what if he’d gotten drunk again would we have more victims?

As far as we know, he did not. We understand that he was at work every day. However, we did hear from people involved in the search that the searchers who came by on horseback saw him out on his porch or yard, waving at them as they went by, on the evening of either the first or second day of the search.

It’s difficult enough to accept that Danny Coston would kill 2 young people in cold blood, but to think that His pregnant girlfriend was involved in more than just the cover up is too horrible for words.
Danny Coston had a 4 wheeler, he lived close by and he was a good friend of the sheriff. I wonder if he took part in the ground search, maybe steered the search in another direction
