ELDERLY MAN MISSING IN ELDORADO

ljklkygfitfkli;

ELDORADO—There has been a report that a family is frantic trying to learn the whereabouts of a loved one in Eldorado.

Family of James “Cricket” Davis, 81 (our sources are uncertain of his first name for sure, as he has always been known as “Cricket,” but additional sources believe it is “James,” so we’re posting that til we hear otherwise) was last heard from about 8:30 last night, Sunday, October 7, 2012.

Family spoke to Davis by phone at that time.

As of this morning, however, when family attempted to contact him, he was nowhere to be found.

As of this afternoon, his daughters and grandkids, having gone up and down the bike trail through town and not locating him, have rallied the forces of the fire chief and volunteers, as well as the city street and alley personnel, to help look all over town for Davis.

It was reported to Disclosure that the city’s police chief, Freeman Shannon Todd Deuel, is currently at home, where he’s been since the whole search was kicked off, at about 8:30 this morning.

Sources indicate that just before 1:30 p.m., bloodhounds were brought in for the search.

Davis reportedly left his home without his medicines or his glasses. The family was unable to ascertain whether he had taken his shoes, or if so, which ones. Davis hadn’t been doing well lately, since he lost his wife, and family are really concerned about him. If you’re in the area, keep an eye out. We’re trying to get in touch with family for a photo of Davis; when we do, we’ll post. Keep checking back.
