RICHLAND CO.—The loss of Deputy Chris Kirkwood, 50, to cancer a few weeks ago has hit Richland County hard.

It’s also hit his family hard.

That’s why there’s a benefit poker run going on right now throughout the area. As the run has already begun, we’re going to post the various locations where the stops will be, then let you all know that the activities will continue this evening.

9am Registration for Poker Run
10am Kick Stands up for Poker Run
Stops will be:
1. Fairfield VFW Post #4535 (meal at this stop)
2. Albion VFW Post #8222
3. Mt. Carmel VFW Post #4276
4. Lawrenceville VFW Post #2244
Then back to Olney VFW
5pm Meal
6:30-ish Tug-of-War
7pm Auction
