Olney man missing for days; police are slow to respond
OLNEY—An Olney man has been missing since September 15, and friends and family are worried that law enforcement isn’t concerned about it.

Ed Hataway, shown here, has not been seen since being at work last Sunday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Olney. According to friends and family, he lives at the DC Sales apartments and his landlord, Don Cunningham has checked his apartment; Hataway’s keys and cell phone were still there and his shoes were found in the parking lot tere.
Friends have advised that this is not normal for him … and they believe that the facts clearly show that it was not voluntary.
“We are not receiving much assistance from the local authorities,” said one friend of the family. “We need all the help we can get to find him!”
