THE GRINCH TAKES A PLEA

SALINE CO.—Well, looks like Carolyn hated jail so much that she’d do anything to get out.

Including take a plea.

Carolyn Glore McGhee, the woman who in this current issue (on stands now at J&J’s Drive-Thru Liquors, Graf Ink Printing and Book Emporium in Harrisburg, Raleigh Quick Mart in Raleigh and College Drive Liquors in Eldorado) has been linked to Steve Patton, formerly of Medicap, entered a plea yesterday in Saline County Circuit Court. She had been set to appear for a bond reduction. Instead of a reduction, she got a conviction. Voluntarily.

McGhee entered a plea September 20 to the first of two charges of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance (hydrocodone) dating back to an incident on May 23 which authorities are strangely vague about in court documents. A second count of the same charge, dating back to June 13, was dismissed in exchange for the plea.

She was really happy about it:

Out of mf jail !!!!Free at last

Carolyn, stepping out of the sheriff’s vehicle a couple of weeks ago before she saw me.

Was she not going to get that bond reduction? It was only $2,000 cash for both counts. But Carolyn couldn’t get “Steve” (as she was complaining to anyone within earshot at the Saline County Detention Center) to raise the money or come to the jail. Could that be because “Steve” (Patton? Who knows) doesn’t have any…he’s no longer working as a pharmacist at Medicap, and his wife has dumped his ass and filed divorce papers in the wake of the Medicap ‘inspection’ that took place in late July.

Anyway, Carolyn, Harrisburg’s freshest felon, is now out and about and probably preparing to bitch to high heaven on her Facebook page about our coverage…which is only going to intensify, we guarantee.

Just wait til you see what we have prepped for the next issue, on stands no later than October 10…and don’t forget to get out and pick up the current edition, while there are still some out there, as they’re flying off the shelves so people can begin to collect the coverage of the White County murders.
