SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS: PLEASE PLEASE READ; ALSO, HEARTLAND INFO
A couple of items of interest you need to be made aware of.
First, we realize we are selling out at various locations across the distribution area already, not 24 hours into the delivery process. We’re trying to figure out how to best handle this. It may require another press run. I’ll admit…we underestimated the run on this. I wish I’d been able to convince Ang to go with a higher run, but we just didn’t know. So we’re reworking the numbers now. There are two areas of high interest on the front page—The White County murders, and the Crawford County Stifles. As well, there’s a HUGE number of Lawrence County stories in this one….and of course, the latest Medicap update for SoCos, and the ongoing sex crimes against children in Clay County. So there’s really something in this for everyone….and not everyone is going to want to get just the online version, as they’ll want to keep something in hardcopy for their own purposes.
That said, we need to address the ongoing issues with the e-edition.
(NOTE CHANGE IN THE BELOW INFO; CHRIS WILL BE ON TOMORROW, JUST NOT TODAY)
There have been a couple of instructional videos put up on our Facebook page and here at the site. Today (Tuesday), anyone experiencing problems with it are going to have to refer to those videos to get through the problems. I hate like hell to have to say this, but IT WILL DO NO GOOD TO MESSAGE, EMAIL OR CALL US ABOUT THE LOGIN ISSUES, because we can’t fix them. Only our tech guy can, and he’s not going to be available today. We don’t have access to the “fix,” so we can’t address it. You may message or email Chris Beavers at chris@grafink.com, but I don’t think he can get to them these today at all, so they’ll have to hold. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we know there will be grumblings of “well we paid for it, we need to get it,” and that’s true, but the glitch comes in when the very specific instructions are not followed through exactly as they’re supposed to be. We only have a vague idea of what this is, but Chris has explained it like this: If you don’t use the appropriate email used at login, you won’t get your password generated. If you don’t have your password, you won’t get on. He’s been correcting this somehow, on the backside…but WE DON’T HAVE ACCESS TO THE BACKSIDE. So we can’t help at this point, only Chris can. He’s going to teach one of us how to do this—but not until this weekend. It was one of those unforeseen glitches of the growing pains, and we’ll work it out, we promise. But for these today, we can’t.
Another issue with the e-edition is this: You can’t share your password, or login on several different computers, or you’ll be locked out. We know that there are only VERY FEW PEOPLE who are doing this, but it is happening. So if you’ve done this, and you’re locked out, here’s your sign.
So please bear with us. We’re in the middle of deliveries and trying to get all this as taken care of as we can, including another court appearance tomorrow for Coston and all the attendant other things we’re doing. We’ll getcha taken care of, no worries…it just may take a little while. But we appreciate your faith in us, and we’ll do our damnedest not to let you down.
HEARTLAND INFO:
DISCLOSURE HEARTLAND IS NOW AVAILABLE ON THE E-EDITION!
If you’ve been the victim of the public officials who are going around to our vendors in Edgar County trying to exert their influence on them and keep them from carrying Disclosure Heartland, you can get an online membership and get the same articles and photos appearing in this month’s Heartland! We are still delivering plenty of hard copies to the Heartland vendors, but people like Bob Colvin and Craig Smith (mayor of Paris) are sending their lackeys to call the vendors and fraudulently claim they’ll “never buy from them again,” and vendors don’t know them from Adam so they have to err on the side of caution, and we don’t blame them. If they were REAL customers, that’s a problem, so the vendors are playing it safe. But it’s fraudulent, and it’s causing readers problems. And while it’s sad that a handful of corrupt people are trying to impose THEIR restrictions on what you can buy in stores, we’ve been through this before and have prevailed, and getting an online membership is but one of those ways.So you can get your Heartland reading done right here; just sign up for the online membership and start enjoying it today!
