Interesting development in high-profile theft allegation
EDWARDS CO.—A press release just submitted from the office of Edwards County State’s Attorney Mike Valentine has shown a very interesting turn of events in the case the county has against Dee Harper, former co-director of the Edwards County Senior Center who was charged last month with mega Theft from the facility, this taking place over a course of years and covered extensively by Disclosure:
Edwards County State’s Attorney Mike Valentine has reported that in lieu of recent charges his office filed against Deloris “Dee” Harper surrounding allegations of theft of funds from the Edwards County Senior Center, Deloris “Dee” Harper has made a $20,000.00 payment directly to the Edwards County Senior Center.He further reports that Ms. Harper has made this payment without admitting guilt at this time.
