There’s an element to this that they’ve not uncovered, I think. We’re not digging into that right now; we’ve told the people working on it that we’re going to let them do their work. But I think when it comes out, there are going to be more stunned and outraged people than what there are right now, if that’s at all possible. And in crime at this level…that’s ALWAYS possible.

Just when I thought this story couldn’t get any worse…..I know people who are both close to the victims and on the flip side, close to Coston. There is such an immense amount of disbelief on both sides. Just complete shock! I wonder if a temporary insanity defense is in the works. I can’t imagine any human being, especially a 16yr old girl who would consentially have sex after just witnessing her boyfriend be killed. I can certainly understand being “cooperative” in order to save your life…but that is NOT CONSENT, that is basic survival, a technique women have had to use from the beginning of time to preserve their life!

For someone to be that deluded seems insane, but that seems to be the only part of the story where his “clarity” is in question. Wow….there are just no words for this F*d up situation.

Why would you be mad at the sheriff? He’s done a great job of getting the truth out of Coston. Just because he relays what Coston said, doesn’t mean he agrees with Coston’s actions. smh—–

First of all… My sympathies go out to the wheeler and Evans families. I can’t begin to imagine the pain of this. Now second! This Coston guy just pissed me off! And that sheriff, also! What teenage girl, under ANY circumstance, is going to consent to any form of sex after seeing her boyfriend shot by a stranger just minutes earlier? Might not have been a complete stranger, but still someone she might not have known well if at all.. Just saying that doesn’t make it consensual on her part. There has been documented cases of ‘concensual rape’!
