BREAKING: FORMER COURT SECURITY OFFICER/COP/IYC STAFFER JAILED

SALINE CO.—We’ve learned from official sources in Saline County tonight that former Saline County courthouse security officer Kyle Schwartz has been jailed after allegedly beating up his ex-wife’s new husband at a school ball game.
We’ve received details from a person who was at the ball game and observed the whole thing: Schwartz is reported to have hit the new husband of Schwartz’ very recent ex-wife Ramona, Louis Devous. The Schwartz’ son plays for the Harrisburg Middle School Baseball team. Schwartz is reported to have asked Devous what he was doing there and Devous responded, “Can’t we at least get along?”
Schwartz then reportedly started throwing punches and kicking Devous while he was down. Devous ended up going to the emergency room and it’s been reported that he may have a broken jaw.
The boy continued to play even though his mom had to leave to take the husband to the ER and his dad was arrested right there.
Our sources tell us that Schwartz, who retired from IYC with some sort of disability and who is also a former Galatia police officer, has kind of gone off the reservation lately. He’s supposed to be housed at the Saline County Detention Center right now; we’ve submitted for his mug and should be getting that soon.
We should have more details in the morning; keep checking back.

good lol…i hate that dude….always cheating on his ex anyway…who can blame her for remarrying…dude banged my ex when i was dating her….
I hope they throw away the key on this ass=hole ! He thinks he is all that and a bowl of cherrios ! Shootin up steroids so it can look like he works out , cheating on his wife at the time all the time , and then there is the poor pitiful me Kyle story all of the time ! Mona is a wonderful woman and no one in this town could ever understand why she put up with him for all those years !Glad she has moved on with her life and I hoipe her New husband sues the Hell out of Kyle . Maybe all those law suits Kyle has gotten from IYC will come back to bite him in the ass ! I hope they take everything they can get ! Kyle’s only disability is in the HEAD ! He’s a friggin nut !!!!

I do not condone arbitrary, unprovoked violence, but there are two sides to every story. I cannot begin to imagine how I would feel, or how I would act if I lost a child, therefore, I cannot judge what happened.
Since I wasn’t there, I don’t know exactly what happened, but there are a couple of conflicting reports. Benefit of the doubt, presumption of innocence, anyone, anyone, anyone?
Yeah…it didn’t help Coston’s case any that he told so many conflicting stories. That just made everything all the worse for him…but, he did it without an attorney, so the defense is going to jump on it. That Webb and Maier didn’t clarify the three-gunshot-wound issue on Evans may come back on them later, too…the testimony was so complex that I’m sure that was just simple oversight on someone’s part, but it could be made an issue in the future. Still, there was a lot of detail. And there are still the Coston supporters, who keep coming up with different ideas as to why he did this…I’m not at liberty to release them right now. But they’ll probably pop up elsewhere. A “why” isn’t justification at all. But it is an “explanation,” and sometimes the human psyche just NEEDS that so that the whole case doesn’t tunnel around and around in your head all day like a crazy mole.
What does having loosing a child have to do with the way Kyle has acted ????? I guess if we loose a child , that gives us the right to cheat on our spouses , put on the big front as being religious , slap our spouses around , and beat the hell out of anyone we want ! Give me a break , Kyle has used his sons death for many excuses every since it happened ! Does everyone know that his son hadn’t talked to him in months because he found out Kyle was cheating on Mona ? That Kyle was one of the reasons his son turned to drugs? That Kyle was blowing up his son’s phone the day he was killed , that his son told him he would never forgive him for cheating on his mother ? Well Kyle wants the poor pity party , he will not get it from me , he’s a peice of shit , always has been and always will be !I guess it’s o.k for Kyle to call up the mother of his dead son’s baby and thresten to kill her and her whole family since she is with someone else also .. GIVE ME A BREAK ! They have a special place for people like KYLE SCHWARTS , it’s called HELL !
Sneeky1; Sorry man, I didn’t mean to hit a nerve by my comments. I don’t know about the infidelity issues between Mr. Schwartz and his ex-wife, but I do know that he and his son had been speaking as recently as three days prior to the accident; I spoke with both of them during that time.
As for using his son’s death as an excuse–again, I don’t know what I would do if I lost a child. I suppose I’d go to a psychiatrist and they would put me on a bunch of medication which would alter my moods and behavior (not unlike Kyle). Actually, I never want to find out how I would act.
Apparently the former Mrs. Schwartz has moved on with her life and married another gentleman. Kyle has moved on with his life as well, and has married a very nice lady that I have known for many years.
Again, I didn’t mean to get you all angry about this, and I am not in any way defending physical violence. I am hearing that it didn’t happen near the actual ball diamond though. Is it possible that it was in the field beside the Saline County Ambulance base; just something I heard from a reliable source. Peace.
I was there and the incident happened across the Shaw st rd in a parking lot. Its funny the Daily Register got it all wrong and i would say their ass is in Trouble. Devous said something to Schwartz and things went crazy. Daily Register said Schwartz was let go from the sheriff dept, i know he quit because of all the corruption up there in the Sheriff’s dept.I know Devous was a Pastor at Equality Christian Church and had to Resign because he was caught involved with Schwartz’s ex. I know Schwartz has been through Hell with his son driving upon the accident, then his ex telling him a month later God told her to divorce him. Its bad enough he found out they were sneaking around and he found out. I would say that would push anyone over the edge.Slamdunc, your source is Correct.I think that whole family has been through hell.
My guess would be that Zito’s real name is Kyle Schwartz because he is singing the same song that Kyle sings to EVERYONE he comes in contact with… Let me guess, “Zito” Kyle is going to sue the Daily Register for “getting it wrong”… Evidently he is going to sue everyone in Southern Illinois, according to his WalMart rants to anyone who will listen. I am wondering how someone who is getting disabiity is able to beat the tar out of a man so bad he ends up in the hospital. Seems to me that he could work if he can fight like that. Should be interesting when the disability office gets wind of this. Now granted, Schwartz is around 48 and Devous is around 60 so it probably wasn’t a fair fight, but it took three people to pull schwartz off… (poor diabled guy) Wonder what the diability office will think about that?? Kyle has told everyone who would listen that he had it out for Devous. Half the people who go to Walmart have been approached by Kyle and heard his rants about the “preacher from equalitY.” I hate to go to Walmart anymore! He somehow forgets to mention to them that he is the one who has had all the affairs, and has threatened to beat up everyone he knows. No, I can’t imagine what it would be like to loose a child, but I know that spitting out hate, and lies, and trying to destroy my own family would not be an option. Kyle is re-married, his ex-wife is remarried. Not quite sure why he isn’t just moving on and trying to enjoy life with his new wife. I agree that his only diability is in his head. Word to the wise. . .If you see “Zito” Kyle in WalMart, Run! Run for your life!! Otherwise, you will be hung up by a raving maniac spewing nothing but lies and hate. I agree with Sneeky1. The only disability that Kyle has is in his head. He needs some major therapy!!

I think you hit the nail right on the head , as soon as I read the post by ZITO , Kyle was the first person I thought of saying what was wrote !What goes around comes around , and I hope the disability office gets wind of all of this , and as for Kyle quiting his job at county , I heard he was fired also , one he was trying to or was drawing disability from the prison and the county got word of it , if he did quit, I am sure he would have been another Todd Fort had he stuck around , probabley to much temptation for him around all of those young girls ! HE is a pervert by nature ! He got married ???? Didn’t know that one ,, my prayers for the new wife .
I gave up trying to guess who’s who on these boards. I figured out three were a long time ago, I guessed at a couple and was so wrong, and I found out who a couple more were, and it totally shocked me.
I don’t go to Wal-Mart unless it is an absolute emergency (can’t stand the ‘Evil Empire’), so I’ve never seen Kyle there. I do know for a fact, that he resigned from his court security job on three different occasions, and came back, since he had obviously left on good terms.
Kyle was already drawing disability from IDOC when he was hired at the courthouse. He was allowed (by IDOC) to either work so many hours, or make a certain amount of money, before it would effect his disability. The courthouse knew this and scheduled him accordingly.
I don’t know anything about what happened with his last marriage; someone posted things about infidelity and abuse. It is hard to say what really happened, because I wasn’t there.
One thing for sure, I know several people who have lost children, and it effects everyone in a different way, and if for no other reason, this is why I wouldn’t pass judgment.
There are people on here who obviously have issues with Kyle Schwartz, but nobody can please everyone.

Kyle was not fired from the sheriff’s dept……he quit. Kyles been thru alot the past year…… do we have proof of the cheating? No, is it anybodys business? No…… do any of us know the exact conversation betwern Kyle and Mkna’s new husband other than “something was said between the two”? No. I know Kyle ……I’m actually related to him ……he’s been there when I needed to talk to him and vice versa. Regardless of the opinions of him let’s leave it at that. I’m all for news but lets leave speculation where it is, just as speculation and let it play out in court.
Unfortunately, whatever was said between the two precipitated the fight, so that IS part of the news, and it can be speculated upon ad infinitum. As well, whatever precipitated the divorce, which court appearances by judges, bailiffs, circuit clerks, etc, cost the taxpayers just the same as the criminal charges do for same services, is also by that respect news, and is also free game for speculation. Sorry, that’s just the way it is. If tax dollars fund it, it’s an open field for talk.
