Discovery of drugs leads to arrest of young folks in Hardin
HARDIN/POPE COs.—While the details are still sketchy, reports are indicating that all the police activity seen at a Herod

residence two nights ago was related to the search of a house there and detainment of three young people.
Reports indicate that the house, reportedly owned by Garrett Hays’ father, was the subject of a search warrant on that Tuesday. As a result of the search, there were allegedly a host of illicit substances found, including pills and marijuana plants.
Mitchell Konrad
Hayes, along with two present at the house, Austin German and Mitchell Konrad, was taken in for questioning. However, Hayes was later let go because according to our sources, “the other two told police it was their stuff.” German and Konrad were reportedly charged, but exactly what with remains a matter of scrutinizing court records.
All the boys are recent graduates so their ages range from 18 to 20, but that’s as close as we have right now.
German, if we’re remembering correctly, was part of the “Kill List” generated at Hardin County Schools late last year (December 2011) that was the subject of much media coverage in the following months.

i decided to share this story on my facebook page and talk about nuts…i merely stated my opinion and i was nearly crucified by a lot of these people’s friends…oh, and according to them disclosure “never gets it’s facts straight” haha…i love how trash defends other trash when they screw up and their problems are made public knowledge. GO DISCLOSURE!!
Yeah, who’s not living in reality? I had no less than FOURTEEN EYEWITNESSES (I counted them) tell me EXACTLY THE SAME INFORMATION that they observed with their own eyes AT THE SCENE…then, received input from TWO official sources that totally corroborated. WTH? Those people in Hardin County are by and large nuts. And I think I know why, too.
i’m originally from hardin county, but i guess i was actually raised right lol and know right from wrong and legal from illegal, cause everytime i gripe or make my opinion known on facebook about how drugs or whatnot are screwing people up and how usless it is, then i get complained about because “they are kids. they made a mistake” well, i was a kid once and i never have and never will smoke any type of drug. either way, i think the disclosure covers its facts fine. Keep it going!!
I am not aware of how bad Hardin county or the surrounding counties are suffering with young adults and even children on drugs but it is staggering here in Saline county.
