LIGHTNING STRIKE CAUSES FIRE IN AREA OFF KAREL PARK ROAD, ELDORADO
All we know is that mutual aid no mutual aid (CORRECTED) for surrounding fire departments was sent out, and that this is a huge blaze. Only Eldorado Fire Department was there:

THERE WAS JUST ONE FIRE in the Karel Park Road area. A reported field fire was inaccurate; the single fire was at an oil rig near Whitlock Road. All of this is outside Eldorado on the highway leading to Raleigh. Use caution if you are traveling in that area. It’s out now, 8:45; was fought for at least 45 minutes to an hour.
