FORMER GALLATIN COUNTY SHERIFF RAYMOND MARTIN’S LIFE SENTENCE VACATED
GALLATIN CO.—We’ve learned from a source in Gallatin County that their former sheriff there, Raymond Martin, has had his sentence VACATED by the appeals court he filed with immediately after sentencing last year, January 18, 2011.

Martin is the 20-year sheriff/long-time drug kingpin in Gallatin which Disclosure exposed in 2006 as such, but it took until 2009 for the feds to get him on marijuana trafficking, threatening witnesses, and, ultimately what got him a life sentence in January 2011, using a weapon in the commission of a drug crime.
It was this sentence, and apparently on this basis, that his LIFE SENTENCE was overturned by the appeals court.
The bottom line here: He’s going to have to go back to Benton for re-sentencing, and the judge can’t issue a life sentence.
We’re working on obtaining the appeals court’s paperwork that shows this, and when we get it, we’ll post a link.

I just heard that the date for Tina’s plea date has been moved up to Sept. 26th. Wonder why it changed? Rumor is she is getting between 60 – 90 days in jail. Since the court date moved I’m wondering if she is trying to serve her time and be out for the holidays. I also wonder if she knows that her so called “friends” are laughing their asses off behind her back about her having to actually do jail time? At the bar tonight there were 2 of her “supporters” saying how she is getting what she deserves. These same 2 were all over FB and the internet defending her. If I had friends like that I would rather have no friends at all. The big question in GCO right now is when Raymond is going to be brought back to be resentenced? I assume that he would be held in Jackson County jail while back in Southern IL. Who knows he and Tina might be under the same roof 1 more time if he gets brought back while she is in JC serving her time. Might be a little awkward since she has moved on with life with a new man, or men.:)
I have heard all the gossip also from her so called “bar friends” and her family also. Her facebook friends claim they can not keep up with her constantly deleting and reactiviation her account. I for one love that she liked Disclosures article about her not going to trial and the fact that she would like to slap the stupid out of some people… Hello Tina Martin, how smart are you? I am sure pleinty of residnets would love to smack the stupid right out of you. You can no longer claim your innocence and plead guilty at the same time, can you?
Anything on her court date today?
